Dear Amit Agarwal (Google Maps Formulas for Google Sheets)

Dear Amit Agarwal,

Thank you for being an incredible human person and a maker and sharer of digital miracles, including and specifically the Google Maps Formulas for Google Sheets.

A friend came to me asking about a spreadsheet that would be able to tell someone instantly what the closest airport was to their starting location. He mentioned an online tool that might have been helpful, but since it was for Google Sheets I did a quick Ecosia search. TBH, I don’t know what I searched! But I pretty quickly came to your excellent resource.

Many people post their code online, and I thank them very much for that. And you did that as well, in incredible detail that was frankly over my head and beyond my needs. But YOU (beautiful person, you) not only shared your code AND all that description - you created a workable template spreadsheet to copy and use the code in, so that if someone wanted to never look at or touch the code, they wouldn’t have to. AMAZING.

I used your code to help my friend out with their project, or at least the beginning of it. I’m sharing the fun Google Sheets work in this other blog post.

For now, I just want to raise you up and show you gratitude!

Peace,
Emily
