Currently there is an intersection of mission-driven organizations seeking support for their data & technology and mission-driven people looking for opportunities to jump in and be part of this work. I want Make Tech Work For You to be at the center of that intersection and we are looking to hire Data & Tech Associates on a contract basis. For each non-profit we work with, we need at least one person who loves to geek out on all things data & tech for mission-driven work! There is a healthy amount of Salesforce work, but we are not a Salesforce consulting firm.
We are looking for someone who:
Thinks roadblocks are opportunities for learning
Enjoys finding multiple paths to solutions
Has experience working in any or all the following:
Spreadsheets
Login Databases (CRMs, Donor Databases, CMSs, etc.)
Automation tools
Survey/Form tools
APIs or other data integration/ETL tools
Has an understanding of/interest in workflow processes
Can work independently yet communicate consistently
Asks a lot of questions and brings ideas for next steps
Can execute daily data and workflow management and ask for support
The work you can expect to be doing:
Manage the clients’ Salesforce database, including the builder and flows, data analysis tools and automations.
Audit and monitor database systems and processes (working with spreadsheets to maintain data quality)
Create reporting and data visualizations (graphs and charts) to display data outcomes and measurements.
Leverage data and system tools for workflow integrations and processes (such as Zapier or similar tools)
Support each department to maintain technology documentation for end users that aligns with best practices.
Work with clients’ data team and cross functional department to develop and implement system improvements.
You can also expect a 20 hour work week to start with compensation of $50 an hour.
